4 October 2021: "Innovative ways of working and inclusive meal procurement"
The Swedish Research Council Formas is organizing a seminar on the procurement of food and meals, a topic of constant interest to Blå Mat's partners and others. Ingrid Undeland and Fredrik Gröndahl from Blue Food - Center for Future Seafood will participate in the seminar.
This is how the seminar is described on the Formas website:
"Law, budget, public health - there is a lot to consider when food and meals are procured by public actors. But how can a manager or official in the public sector identify and highlight the added value that procurement can provide? How do you create a holistic approach and a way of working that allows more goals to be achieved than those related to money and rules?"
The seminar brings together stakeholders with interest and experience in the issues and researchers from four centers for food research and innovation, including Ingrid Undeland, Professor of Food Science at Chalmers University of Technology and coordinator of Blue Food research, and Fredrik Gröndahl, Associate Professor of Industrial Ecology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and coordinator of Blue Food capacity building.
