See Blue Mat's seminars from Almedalen Week 2025

Blue Mat's researchers and experts participated in several seminars during Almedalen Week 2025 on topics such as food security, self-sufficiency, marine research stations and fisheries policy. All with links to the Baltic Sea and seafood. You can now watch the seminars afterwards on the Uppsala University website.

The seminars were part of the Baltic Sea Days coordinated by the Blue Centre Gotland with a large number of participating organizations and companies. Blue food was represented in the following seminars:

  • "Implementation of the ecosystem approach in fisheries policy", Andreas Pettersson, Gotland County Administrative Board
  • "Food systems that strengthen Sweden's preparedness and benefit the Baltic Sea", Fredrik Gröndahl, KTH
  • "How can Swedish fish contribute to securing preparedness and self-sufficiency?", Ingrid Undeland, Chalmers
  • "Mayday from Swedish marine research stations - where does the responsibility lie?", Gunilla Rosenqvist, Uppsala University, Fredrik Gröndahl, KTH
