Watch the webinar "Improving the conditions for sustainable aquaculture?"

In May and June 2025, the Swedish Parliament decided on two bills that entailed new conditions for the aquaculture industry and the relevant authorities. On 18 June, the day after the second decision, Blå mat organized a webinar with Jonas Kyrönviita, PhD in public law and expert in the rule simplification investigation that formed the basis for one of the bills. The webinar, which provided a unique insight into what the legislative changes could mean for the future of aquaculture in Sweden, also included representatives of the industry, the Swedish Board of Agriculture and the County Administrative Board.
