Watch the webinar "Improving the conditions for sustainable aquaculture?"

In May and June 2025, the Riksdag passed two bills that established new conditions for the aquaculture industry and the relevant authorities. On June 18, the day after the second decision, the Swedish Association for Aquaculture ( Blue Food ) hosted a webinar featuring Jonas Kyrönviita, a Ph.D. in public law and an expert on the regulatory simplification inquiry that formed the basis for one of the bills. The webinar, which provided a unique insight into what the legislative changes might mean for the future of aquaculture in Sweden, also featured representatives from the industry, the Swedish Board of Agriculture, and the County Administrative Board.
