Doctoral course at the University of Gothenburg: "Transdisciplinary methods for the development of sustainable aquaculture"

The Blue Food section of the University of Gothenburg is offering a doctoral course in April and May 2026, in interdisciplinary collaboration between natural science and social science departments at GU and the Ecological Aquaculture Foundation, Maine, USA: "Transdisciplinary approaches to sustainable marine aquaculture"

The course begins with an intensive week at the Tjärnö Marine Laboratory and Kristineberg Marine Research Station on the west coast. This is followed by a four-week online component. The course is taught by Swedish and international lecturers and experts from the aquaculture industry, and includes visits to aquaculture facilities.

To apply for the course, you must be admitted to a doctoral program.
