Young Researchers at Blå Mat: Vita Weitong Xu

Vita Weitong Xu is a joint PhD student at KTH and Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. Her project focuses on understanding and analyzing large-scale algae production and generating knowledge that can benefit Swedish growers, while also providing insights into sustainable production that Chinese companies can learn from.

In her work, Vita Weitong Xu seeks to gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry by developing a deeper understanding of large-scale algae production, quantifying synergies, and identifying hotspots of environmental impact, while also highlighting regional differences.
