Formas: Event and calls for proposals

The Swedish research council Formas welcomes you to a forum to work together to address the challenges facing the food system and explore future pathways toward more robust supply chains and sustainable inputs. Formas is also presenting new funding opportunities for companies and researchers collaborating on the green transition of the food system. Two calls for proposals for companies and academia will open soon.

Formas’ event, “Från insatsvaror till försörjningsvägar. Hur rustar vi upp för matomställningen?” will take place on 8 October in Stockholm. You can read more (in Swedish) and register your interest in participating on Formas' website.

The call for proposals “Samverkansdriveninnovation för framtidens livsmedel 2026” opens on 1 October 2026; the application deadline is Thursday, 17 December 2026.

The call for proposals “Företagsnära forskning för samhällsnyttig omställning i livsmedelssektorn” opens on 1 October 2026; the application deadline is Thursday, 1 April 2027.
