Strong Interest in Small-Scale Land-Based Fish Farming

Could fish farming in an abandoned building become a new or complementary business for Swedish farmers? That was one of the questions raised when 85 participants gathered at Nuntorp Farm’s new test and demonstration facility. Researchers from Swemarc and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences ( Blue Food ) shared their expertise on farming techniques and fish health.
