
Blue food at the Almedalen week with the Baltic Sea Days.
On Wednesday, July 6, Blue Food will participate in the Almedalen seminar "Blue food - what conditions exist for sustainable blue food from the Baltic Sea and on land?". The organizer is Östersjödagarna and from Blå mat will Fredrik Gröndahl, Gunilla Rosenqvist, Pontus Gunnarsson and Andreas Pettersson. Axfood's head of sustainability Åsa Domeij and Sofia Strandberg, sustainability strategist at Coop, will also participate.
"To meet future food needs, we need to eat more sustainable seafood, both from the sea and through land-based aquaculture. What conditions are required for sustainable food from the Baltic Sea?" This is the question that will be discussed by Blå Mat's own and invited experts.

The seminar will be broadcast via Almedalsveckan Play and via Uppsala University's platform.
The Baltic Sea Days are also organizing six other topical seminars on Wednesday and Thursday. Coop, one of Blue Food's partners, will provide breakfast and lunch, so take the opportunity to combine new knowledge with good (sea) food.
