Seaweed, sea cucumbers and scientists at the Science Festival

For the fourth year in a row, Blue Food exhibited at the Science Festival in Gothenburg. As usual, we shared the exhibition space with the Blue Food partner Swemarc at the University of Gothenburg. Curious visitors were able to learn more about the seafood of the future, such as seaweed, sea cucumbers and a variety of cultivated organisms.

Blue Food took part in the program:

Seafood - the food of the future: marine aquaculture

Seafood - the food of the future: make your own seaweed salt

Seafood - the food of the future: the vacuum cleaner of the sea

Seafood - the food of the future: Blue food

Seafood - the food of the future: growing fish in a loop

Seafood - the food of the future: 5-course tasting menu

Seafood - the food of the future: Grow more and more!

Seafood - the food of the future: the blue wave

From Blue Food, Kristina Snuttan Sundell and Marica Andersson, University of Gothenburg, and Lillemor Lindberg, Innovatum Science Park, participated. They were joined by a large number of researchers from Swemarc and the University of Gothenburg who provided additional program items. You can find them on the Science Festival website. This year's edition of the Science Festival took place from April 15 to 26.
