Blue Mat annual meeting 2025 at Torsåker farm
On October 1 and 2, more than 60 people from all parts of the seafood sector and Sweden met at Torsåker Farm for the first annual meeting of Blå Mat's second four-year term. During two days of extraordinary hosting by Axfoundation, including innovative food and drink of the most delicious and sustainable kind, the participants were given:
- Perspectives and plans from the Government Offices, the Ministry of Rural Affairs and Infrastructure, the Swedish Board of Agriculture and the Swedish National Food Agency on the Food Strategy 2.0 and on healthy food.
- Scientists' and the fish industry's thoughts on how to feed more herring and strengthen the economy, health and food security.
- Join a workshop on sustainability and hear about the fish of the future - rainbow trout farmed on fungal protein, insect larvae and more
- Results from Blue Mat doctoral and postdoctoral researchers.
- Experiences of successes and setbacks shared by Blue Food companies and organizations.
