Elena Costa will defend her thesis on November 21, 2025
Elena Costa, Blue Food PhD student working at the research institute Rise and the University of Gothenburg, will defend her thesis "Food neophobia: a key barrier to consumer acceptance of seafood in Sweden" on November 21, 2025.
Elena Costa's project revolves around the question of how we can get Swedish consumers to eat more - and more varied - sustainable seafood, and in the background is the question of how we feed a growing and aging population with more healthy and sustainable food.
The defense will take place in the University of Gothenburg's Natrium building with the possibility to participate via Zoom.
