Watch the webinar “Sustainable Consumption of Fish from the Baltic Sea – Value, Preparedness, and the Future of Blue Food”
In the research project “Implementation of sustainable business models that depend on and sustain local/regional fish stocks in the Baltic Sea,” Cecilia Solér, associate professor of business administration at the School of Business, University of Gothenburg, has investigated which concrete management measures could create the conditions for conducting economic activities within coastal fisheries in the Swedish part of the Baltic Sea. On March 18, 2026, she presented her conclusions in one of Blå mat’s open webinars. You can watch the webinar here with subtitles.
The webinar was also attended by Lillemor Lindberg of Innovatum Science Park, Elin Gunve of the Swedish Board of Agriculture, Vesa Tschernij of the Marine Center in Simrishamn Municipality, and Krishan Kent of the Swedish Fisheries Association.
